The camera’s video stream is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest with 256-bit AES. When your phone and camera share a WiFi network, the camera feed and alerts go directly from camera to phone with no cloud relay. The camera is built so video can only be pushed out through our secure servers to your authenticated account, never pulled from the device, and it will not connect to unsecured networks. Two-step verification is mandatory on every account.
