When traveling with your Sound and Light device, we recommend to first turn the power switch on the bottom to Off, in order to preserve battery.
Note, to comply with the Aviation industry requirements during take off and landing, before flying with the device, make sure to turn the power switch on the bottom to "OFF".
The device can run using the battery for up to 8 hours, depending on how you use it.
In order to control the device using the app, you’ll need to pair the device with the wifi network in your destination. Please note that the device requires a secured network and cannot be paired over “captive portal” networks (such as the ones you commonly find in hotels). To learn more about pairing your device with a new wifi network see here.
If you have a reason to believe that you won’t be able to pair the device at your destination, please plan ahead and store all your desired combinations of sound and light as favorites on the device (see here for more information). That way, you could skip to your desired sound and light combination by pressing the top button twice until reaching it. You can adjust the light brightness and sound volume through the buttons on the back of the device.
