Use Nanit to capture and share the extraordinary moments

Some of your baby’s most precious moments happen while they’re in the crib, and we want to make sure you don’t miss a single one. That’s why we made capturing and sharing moments easy with the Nanit app.

Capture

Whether you're looking for a new wallpaper for your device or want to send a family member an update, snapping a photo through the Nanit app is quick and simple.

To take a photo from the live feed:

  1. Tap the Live tab.
  2. Tap Take a photo.

To take a photo from the full screen live feed:

  1. Tap the Live tab.
  2. Tap the live feed.
  3. Tap the camera icon near the lower-right corner of the screen.

Once you snap a photo, the image is automatically added to the Activity feed

Share

After capturing a photo of your baby, the Nanit app will display the photo and provide options to share via mms, email, social media, and much more. To share a photo after capturing:

  1. Tap the share icon near the lower-right corner of the screen.
2. Choose one of the sharing options.

Additionally, the Nanit app will automatically create moments in the Activity feed each time Nanit detects activity in your baby’s crib, a sleep summary becomes available, or a photo is taken from the live feed. Lucky for you, we’ve added a way to share these moments too:

  1. Tap the Activity tab.
  2. Find the moment you’d like to share.
  3. Tap the Share icon underneath the moment.
4. Choose one of the sharing options.

Comment

If the person you’d like to share a moment with is part of your parenting team, and has permission to your Nanit's Activity feed, you can comment on the moment to send them a notification in the Nanit app. To apply a comment:

  1. Tap the Activity tab.
  2. Find the moment you’d like to comment on.
  3. Tap Comment.
  4. Type your comment, then tap Add.

Each member of the parenting team will then receive a notification of your comment. If they reply, you will receive a notification to let you know.
