You may see the message “Trying to reconnect” in your Nanit app during Breathing Motion monitoring. This means that our Nanit app cannot communicate with the Nanit camera, and therefore cannot transmit Breaths per minute readings for the moment. Rest assured that your Nanit camera should still be monitoring and sending alerts as long as it is connected to power. Reboot (Power Cycle) your Nanit Baby Monitor in one of two ways:
- In the App: ensure your phone is on the same Wi-Fi, go to Settings > Advanced Settings, and select Reboot.
- Manually: unplug the camera head from the stand for 1 minute and then plug it back in.
