You may see the message “Trying to reconnect” in your Nanit app during Breathing Motion monitoring. This means that our Nanit app cannot communicate with the Nanit camera, and therefore cannot transmit BPM readings for the moment. Rest assured that your Nanit camera should still be monitoring and sending alerts as long as it is connected to power.
To solve this, please follow the following steps:
- Restart your Nanit app: make sure that you are running that latest app version and update it if needed.
- Verify that you have an active internet connection and restart your router if necessary.
- Restart your Nanit camera by unplugging it from power for 1 minute, then plugging it back in. The night-light will flash twice indicating that the camera is rebooting.
