Attention: This feature is currently only available on iOS starting from app version 2.6.2.
Detaching a camera means that a single Nanit camera will not be attached to your account anymore. The baby will still be visible in your app, but the physical camera will not be attached to it anymore.
This action allows you to unpair a Nanit camera from your Nanit account. This is useful if you would like to replace a camera with a new one, or use this camera for a different baby.
If you have an active Insights Plan, your baby's data will remain available.
Before detaching your camera, you should know that only the Owner of the camera is able to detach it. To see who is the owner of the camera, follow these steps:
1. Tap the side menu in the Nanit app
2. If you have more than one Nanit camera - Tap the camera you'd like to remove from your account.
3. Choose your baby’s settings
4. If you're the owner of the camera, the word "Owner" will be displayed next to your name on the Parenting team list
