The Video History feature allows you to scroll in the app through the last few days to see full video recordings of every second captured by your Nanit camera.
Video History vs Video Clips
Nanit will automatically save Video Clip highlights throughout the day directly to your Activity Feed in the Nanit app. Video Clips are short videos that are triggered whenever there are sound, motion, or sleep-related events taking place within the Nanit camera’s view. Video Clips are available for Nanit cameras with a Nanit Insights Sleep Plan or higher.
Video History is a separate feature that allows you to scroll back through every second of the most recent few days to see what Nanit captured, whether or not that moment was automatically saved as a Video Clip. Video History is available for Nanit cameras with a Nanit Insights Memories Plan or higher.
How do I gain access to this feature?
Video History is available if you have an active Nanit Insights Memories or Milestones Plan, and you are either an Owner or an Admin of the camera. If you have a Nanit Insights Sleep Plan you will have to upgrade to gain access to the feature. This feature is unavailable on iPads.
How many days of full Video History can I view?
Nanit Insights Memories members are able to view up to 2 days of past full Video History, and Nanit Insights Milestones members are able to view up to 7 full days.
How do I reach the Video History screen?
To access Video History, first tap on the Activity section on the bottom bar, and select the Video History tab near the top.
How do I interact with Video History?
Once you have opened Video History, you will see the video in the top section, and a vertical timeline in the bottom section. You can press play, skip +/-10 seconds, scroll the vertical timeline to reach a desired day/time, or tap the icon in the top right corner to expand to view in full screen.
