To access other features, return to your single camera view (main live screen). Tap the “x” button on the top-right corner of the split screen view to access your single camera view.
The following features are only available from the single camera view:
- View welcome message (“Baby fell asleep 7 hours ago”)
- View temperature and humidity, connection type/status, and camera signal level (iOS only)

Who has access to Split Screen?
Users with more than one camera, regardless of their Insights Plan (no plan, Sleep, Memories, or Milestones) or account type (Owner/Admin/Viewer), will be able to use the Split Screen.
The user permissions for the monitor(s) (such as audio and Breathing Motion Monitoring) are based on the parenting team's permissions currently available today.
What are the requirements to use Split Screen?
Be sure you have the latest version of the Nanit app installed on your mobile device:
- Android: Nanit app version 3.5.4 or later
- iOS: Nanit app version 3.7.3 or later
We also recommend that your mobile device meets the following requirements:
- Android 8+ with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)

Is Split Screen available on the Nanit app for iPad?

How to use Split Screen view on the Nanit app on iOS or Android devices?
- Open the hamburger menu and tap “Split Screen”
- Select two cameras to view by tapping the “+” signs
How do you change the camera stream on Split Screen view?
Android:
Press and hold on the camera stream that you would like to change and select a different camera.
iOS:
Press and hold on the camera stream and select “Remove baby.” Then tap on the “+” sign and select a different camera.
Can I initiate and monitor Breathing Motion Monitoring from Split Screen view?
No, at this time, Breathing Motion Monitoring can only be initiated and monitored from the single camera view.
How do I know if my feed isn’t connected to the Split Screen view?
If you are on an Android device, you may see your camera still trying to load on one of your streams.
If you are on an iOS device, you may see “Feed not available” on one of your streams.
